Girl Scouts in Action Group Facilitator

We are currently seeking 1 to 3 qualified applicants for the Girl Scouts in Action Group Facilitator position.

Position Summary

The Girl Scouts in ACTION facilitator is responsible for working with the assigned regional team to enthusiastically generate girls’ interests in discovering themselves, connecting with others, and taking action to make the world a better place through the Girl Scout Leadership Experience (GSLE).  Ensure quality delivery of the Girl Scout Leadership Experience by working directly with schools and volunteers to support after-school Girl Scout Journey series at designated sites culminating with a related Take Action event/project.  The facilitator assists in the development of leadership skills for girls on an individual and group basis.  She/he represents Girl Scouting in the community through ensuring the Girl Scout program is accessible throughout the assigned area as well as across demographic groups. The Girl Scouts in ACTION facilitator works with the Region 1 team to implement the pre-planned Girl Scouts in ACTION series curriculum, with the goal to build girls of courage, confidence, and character who make the world a better place. Job Location: Red Lake, Cass Lake, and Ponemah Elementary Schools

Type: Temporary Program Facilitator for up to 13 sessions, with a stipend of $50 per session plus mileage.

Membership Specialist

We are currently accepting applications for the Membership Specialist positon located in Waite Park. 

Position Summary
TheMembership Specialist develops and implements plans to retain and increase girl and adult membership in an assigned geographical area(s) of the council. The Membership Specialist works collaboratively with the Volunteer, Program, and Product Sales and Finance Specialist’s in the  Willmar and St. Cloud area. To promote the Girl Scout Leadership Experience and attain sustained girl and adult membership growth.
