Girl Scouts of Minnesota & Wisconsin Lakes & Pines is currently accepting applications for the Volunteer Specialist in Waite Park, Minnesota and Program Specialist Region 3 in Brainerd Minnesota.

Program Specialist

Position will be located in Brainerd, serving Girl Scout Region 3

Position Summary: The Program Specialist is responsible for applying expert knowledge of girls, girl issues, the Girl Scout Leadership Experience, and the National Program Portfolio to support volunteers and partners in delivering high quality program experiences to a growing number and diversity of girls. The Program Specialist is responsible to assure that programs are developed, planned, delivered and evaluated in a manner that recruits and sustains membership   within an assigned geographic area of the council. She/he represents and extends Girl Scouting in the community through presentations, collaborative efforts, networking, and ensuring the Girl Scout program is accessible throughout assigned jurisdiction as well as across demographic groups. The Program Specialist works collaboratively with the Membership, Volunteer, and Product Sales and Finance Specialists within assigned areas to grow and sustain membership.

Volunteer Specialist Region 4

 Position Summary:

The Volunteer Specialist coordinates the implementation of all aspects of the council’s volunteer recruitment strategy in assigned geographic area including recruiting, screening, and overall effective and efficient placement of volunteers.  The volunteer specialist recommends and implements short and long term volunteer recruitment strategies and acts as the primary liaison with the central volunteer management function.  The Volunteer Specialist works collaboratively with the Membership,  Program, and Product Sales and Finance Specialist’s within assigned areas to promote the Girl Scout Leadership Experience and attain sustained girl and adult membership growth.
