Girl Scouts in ACTION: an afterschool series
Agents of Change To Improve Our Neighborhoods
Girl Scouts in ACTION is leadership programming through a multi-session series that culminates in a Take Action project to help girls put their learning into action. Curriculum for Girl Scouts in ACTION has been developed using both Girl Scouts’ Journeys and the Girl’s Guide to Girl Scouting.
2012-13 was Lakes and Pines pilot year for implementing Girl Scouts in ACTION. Partnerships with schools, community organizations, and Service Units are sought to implement the pre-developed curriculum with correlated step by step facilitator guides. For more information about hosting a Girl Scouts in ACTION series in your community, contact us.
