Panera Bread is inviting all aspiring bakers ages 5-12 to explore the art and craft of bread baking at our Bakers in Training program. From stretching fresh-made dough to scoring the loaves, Girl Scouts will learn the finer points of our unique craft for $15 each. Included with the class is a chef hat, apron and their own loaf of bread to take home! We're now accepting groups with a minimum of 10 kids* at participating bakery-cafes — simply sign up your group here.

Girls in Junior High--the Horizons Science & Engineering Conference at SCSU is back this year: Saturday, March 22, 8-3:30. St Cloud State University is hosting a National Women and Girls in Sports Day on Saturday, February 1st with free admission for girls age 14 and under for the basketball and hockey home games! Do you love winter adventures & camp?
Join Girl Scouts as we go outside and explore winter adventures at Camp Shingobee Timbers. Try your hand at winter sports including snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, sliding and depending on the weather ice skating! We will spend most of our time outside but will have time to create a wintery craft and Minnesota sweet treat! All participants sleep in a heated dormitory style four season program center! Girl Scouts can sign up for this program with a friend who is new to Girl Scouts—each girl will get a $5 discount off the program cost!

The Stars on Ice tour is coming to Xcel Energy Center in May, and they are offering a special ticket rate to Girl Scout troops. This family-friendly show features skaters who just competed in the Winter Olympics!

Are you thinking about a spring or summer camping trip with your troop? What a great way to do some team building and make memories you and your girls will always treasure. NOW is the time to get your GSMWLP Basic Outdoor Skills training so you'll be ready.
Whether you're just getting started or have been camping all your life, the Basic Outdoor Skills (BOS) training is designed to prepare you to lead a safe and successful Girl Scout camping trip, so we require at least one adult on your trip to have completed our BOS training. Plus, you'll get to enjoy some delicious food cooked over a campfire!

Cookie season is fast approaching us and we have a wonderful opportunity for a Seasonal Cookie Cupboard Assistant in the Waite Park and Duluth Cupboards. We are looking for applicants to work, with Product Sales staff, at both of our Council run Cookie Cupboards. We are open to having one or two Cupboard Assistants, in each location, for a total 35 hours a week from February 8 – March 14, 2014. Hours will be Tuesday-Friday’s 8:30-5:30 and Saturday’s from 9-12, February 8 – March 8.
This is a paid position that requires lifting, as well as use of a computer and phone, and lots of counting. Interested parties, please submit a letter of intent to Vickie Strobel at firstname.lastname@example.org.

This year's Passport to the World event will be on Sunday, November 3rd, 2013 from 4-6 p.m. in the Atwood Ballroom at St Cloud State University. This event is free.
The event is geared toward children, however all ages are welcome. During Passport to the World, participants receive a passport to collect visa stamps from each booth they visit. The purpose of this event is to show how people share the common experiences of family life, the world of work, expressions of faith, and recreation. Presented by the Center for International Studies in partnership with the International Students' Association at St. Cloud State University.
