For girls in grades 2-5 in spring 2014
Girl Scout Brownies and Juniors take the lead when they vote on their destinations and activities during this trip to explore one of the most scenic places in Minnesota! Options to consider are the Great Lakes Aquarium, the Lake Superior Zoo, Duluth Children's Museum, tour of the Glensheen Mansion, a pizza train ride on the North Shore Scenic Railroad, harbor tour on a Vista Fleet boat, walking tour of Canal Park, or even an afternoon trip to Gooseberry Falls State Park or Split Rock Lighthouse. Trip will be all-inclusive: accommodations, transportation, meals, and all entrance fees. Commemorative t-shirt and patch included!
Please note: all trips require Safety Ratio adults attending with their Girl Scouts unless noted otherwise, or on a case-by-case basis. Girls may use up to half of the final cost of the trip in Cookie Dough and may save their Cookie Dough for up to 3 years. Refer to the Saving Cookie Dough form on the website for details. Trips that take place in the summer months can include girls that are going into the grade that’s advertised. For example, if a girl just completed 5th grade in spring of 2016 and will be going into 6th grade that fall, she would be eligible to attend the Costa Rica trip in July 2016. All prices and dates are subject to change, final dates and costs will be locked-in at least 9-12 months before trip. Please check the GSMWLP website for any updates/changes. www.gslakesandpines.org
Please refer to Volunteer Essentials for guidelines on trip progression for all Girl Scouts.
