How can I afford it?
Since the trip is planned through EF Tours, families can choose their payment plan with this experienced and reputable company.   Also, girls may use up to $500 in Cookie Dough each year to save toward the trip. Cookie Dough may only be saved for the three years prior to the trip, the last year being the year of the trip.  Girls may use up to one half of the trip cost to cover the approved expenses.  And of course, be resourceful as you create a plan to earn your way to Europe.  Along with the Girl Scout Cooke Sale or Fall Product Sale, what other money earning strategies will you use?  Baby sitting money? Spaghetti feed?  Sell a product that you’ve made yourself?  Be creative, think big!

What if I am not in Girl Scouts?  Any girl can take part in any Girl Scout event, camp or trip. Just pay the $12 annual membership fee to take advantage of our exciting programs!

Why travel with EF Tours?  Well, let’s ask them:  "At EF, the world leader in international education, we share the Girl Scouts' commitment to developing confidence and character in young girls. We believe there's no better way for girls to grow than by going on an EF Trip for Girl Scouts. While abroad, girls build skills for success while experiencing the most magnificent historical, cultural, and natural sights."  Safety is EF Tour's top priority.  Visit, tour number 1005270 for trip details.

I’m in! What’s my first step?  Great!  When you are ready to commit to the trip, you will enroll with EF Tours ($95) and send to Girl Scouts your registration form and $100 deposit.

What if I have more questions? Just contact me at the Bemidji Girl Scout office. I would LOVE to have a chance to talk about this amazing opportunity for girls. Just think . . . first London, then Paris, then Switzerland.  Oh, the places you’ll go!
