In the past, the Region 5 staff team has created a monthly newsletter that got sent directly to our regional 01 troop leaders and Community Coordinators/Service Unit Managers. Once we transitioned to the blogs, we didn’t want to get rid of our newsletter, but tried to think of how we’d be able to get a mass amount of information in one place without making all of you scroll through a ton of blog postings. So, we are pleased to announce that our monthly newsletter (and calendar) is not going anywhere – we’re going to post it at the beginning of each month directly to our blog! We have included with our newsletter a calendar of the next upcoming months, which we will also keep. We are not replacing the Region 5 Calendar that is linked at the top left of our blog page, but rather able to provide a more descriptive snapshot of what’s coming up by month.
